I had a friend once tell me that if you just pretend like your life is a sitcom, it makes the crappy/hard times seem less horrible. Funny and entertaining even.
I'm trying it.
As a coping mechanism.
Sooooo....
We found out this morning that our Travel Approval wasn't faxed last night.
It was mailed instead.
(Here's where I pout for hours and look like death run-over twice.)
It's expected to arrive on Monday, and we've been told we will still likely travel in two weeks, it's just going to be an even tighter squeeze than it already was.
We can't book flights/hotels/etc. until we have our consulate appointment, which will not likely come until Wednesday IF the illusive TA shows up on time Monday.
Oh, and by the way, Daniel's going to be gone this entire coming week at a conference.
In Vegas.
Aubrey and I are going to be in Kentucky (where I just may spend the entire time in the fetal position...).
It's times like these when I realize how perfectly God matched Daniel and me together.
I'm freaking out over here, and this dude is as cool as a cucumber.
He's definitely the yin to my yang.
Don't forget to tune in next week...
