You know how you all prayed, and we received our super important LOA after waiting only 52 days?
And the thought of Valentine's Day without our littlest love-bug?
Well, it breaks my heart.
It's going to take a lot of prayers for this to happen.
I know God hears prayers.
I know that God knows a whole lot more than I do.
So, IF IT'S HIS WILL, I'm praying to be on a plane flying to China by the end of January.
When I look back through the photos of all the "leg-work" of this adoption...I can't help but notice it's covered in red hearts and lots of love.
Well, we need your prayers again.
Big prayers.
Have you ever heard of Chinese New Year?
Um, it's sort of a huge deal in Shisi's homeland.
It falls on February 9th this year and government offices will be closed from Feb. 9 - 15 (maybe longer...).
The thing is, the way it currently stands...this has the potential to throw a big, fat monkey wrench in our travel window to bring our baby girl home.

Oh, and one last thing...
We decided on Shisi's new name for when she "officially" becomes a Riherd.
{We are keeping Shisi as her middle name.}
Daniel actually came up with it.
And it is so, so perfect.
I'm not going to announce it on the blog just yet, but I will give you a clue.
Her "new" name means...
love.
